Des-Case offers free online education options

With plants all over the world either shutting down, starting back up, or somewhere in between, we are all in a limbo status while we wait for COVID-19 restrictions to phase out. One thing that remains constant is the continual need for education.

descase-logo-promoUntil May 29, Des-Case is providing free online certification training courses (normally valued at ~$1,000). The online program allows users to continue their education virtually as they prepare to improve their lubrication best practices  with either Des-Case’s MLT I or MLA I training courses. To claim the free course, do the following steps:

1. Like the announcement on LinkedIn
2. Share the post with the #elearning
3. Register for the LMS here
4. Sign up for our newsletter on the above registration page

Promotion runs until May 29th. License is free for 30 days following time of registration. Des-Case reserves the right to cancel, extend or modify the promotion at any time. This course is designed to prepare you for the ICML certification exams for Level 1 Machine Lubrication Technician (MLTI) and Level 1 Machine Lubricant Analyst (MLAI). Certification testing is offered by ICML and you can register for their exam at icmlonline.com.

Des-Case is also offering webinar, Precision Lubrication for Storage & Handling, on May 21, at 11 a.m. CST.

One of the most common misconceptions in maintenance and reliability is that new oil we buy is clean enough for immediate use. New oil from drums or bulk deliveries usually contains anywhere from 2 to 20 times the amount of particles that is acceptable for most lubricated equipment. By improving storage and handling, you can eliminate the ingression of contaminants into new lubricants and therefore eliminate ingression of contaminants into a component through new lubricant additions.

This live webinar will be presented by Ed Duda, Des-Case Technical Consultant, where he will discuss lubrication best practices for storage and handling.
