Winners of the LEAP Awards (Leadership in Engineering Achievement Program) in the category of Test & Measurement include Schroeder Industries with its Schroeder Pro: Total Fluid Health instrument.

The LEAP Awards honor innovative product technology in 12 categories. As determined by 14 industry judges hailing from institutions such as Steris Corp., the University of Missouri, and 3Degrees LLC, the votes are in.

The Schroeder Pro: Total Fluid Health instrument aids in the gathering of real-time fluid condition information to help technicians make informed maintenance decisions. It helps accomplish this by measuring various fluid contamination variables in real-time that reflect a fluid’s condition without having to be permanently installed. Portable fluid condition monitoring can be useful in a variety of applications for gauging contamination sources that include abrasive wear, corrosion, damage to dynamic seals, and oxidation.

The Schroeder Pro: Total Fluid Health is billed as a revolutionary portable service unit, designed to measure and differentiate particulate contamination, as well as determine oil life, relative water content, and temperature. This real-time insight into the health of synthetic, organic, and mineral oils, as well as diesel fuel, helps users make informed decisions with regard to fluid replacement and treatment planning.

As an ISO 9001:2015 certified company, Schroeder Industries has designed, manufactured, and marketed advanced fluid conditioning equipment for more than 73 years. With products for diagnostic, as well as filtration tools, it is a leader in the fluid conditioning industry for markets that use hydraulic oils, fuels and water. Schroeder Industries’ corporate headquarters is in Leetsdale, Pa., with manufacturing facilities at the Leetsdale location as well as in Cumberland, Md.
