Brennan is one of 60 companies recognized as 2023’s Best Employers in Ohio.

This statewide survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment in Ohio, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce, and businesses. The 2023 Best Employers in Ohio list is made up of 60 companies.

To be considered, Brennan had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

  • Be a for-profit, not-for-profit business or government entity;
  • Be a publicly or privately held business;
  • Have a facility in the state of Ohio;
  • Have at least 15 employees working in Ohio; and
  • Must be in business for a minimum of 1 year.

To be considered for Best Employers in Ohio, Brennan also participated in a two-part survey process. The first part consisted of an evaluation of workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. This portion of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation.

The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This portion of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings.

Some of Brennan’s employee feedback included comments such as:

“Brennan invests in the company AND its people. We have a global footprint for manufacturing and distribution, but each facility has a family-feel to it.”

“Does everything possible to make it fun at the office, there are always themed days, coffee, donuts, snacks available, everyone is very fun to work with.”

“The culture of the company is extremely important and continues to be reviewed and questioned for improvement purposes.”

Global HR Director Angela Sebesy said the recognition is a strong testament to the positive culture Brennan strives to maintain.“It’s extremely validating to know that our employees feel good about what we are doing- and we will continue to put in the work to keep Brennan as a top employer for years to come!”
