Pirtek USA saw strong growth at the beginning of the year with five openings, four new franchisee signings, and four resales. The new franchises indicate the brand’s strength and demand in Florida, Texas, Georgia, and across the Midwest.
Since January, Pirtek has opened five locations in Atlanta, Statesville, N.C., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Wilmington, N.C., and Jacksonville. Pirtek also signed four franchise agreements to bring brand-new locations to Jacksonville, Milwaukee, Atlanta, and Poughkeepsie, N.Y. These new signings include Pirtek’s eighth location in Georgia and its 18th location in Florida. Additionally, the company completed four resale franchise agreements in San Antonio, Valley View, Ohio, Tallahassee, and Pensacola. Half of each franchise owner team for the Valley View and San Antonio locations, Tyler Drehs and Robert Guzman, respectively, are former Pirtek employees turned franchisees.
Tyler Drehs first joined the Valley View team over ten years ago and had the opportunity to work in each position within the business. Tyler spent the past six years overseeing and managing the business as Operations Manager. “I’ve been proud to grow within Pirtek and learn how each position works within the system. This hands-on knowledge helps me be a stronger leader, positively impact my community, and grow my business,” says Drehs. Tyler’s sister, Taylor Drehs, is a co-owner of Pirtek Valley View and will be assisting with the business by utilizing her background in accounting and finance.
“We are pleased to see a trend developing where many former employees are interested in franchise ownership. We feel this is a strong testament to the foundation and processes of the Pirtek model,” said Nick Ridgway, Director of Franchise Development for PirtekUSA. “Not only are Pirtek’s services in high demand to keep many essential businesses running, but many of our franchisees are also people who have had positive experiences working with Pirtek as employees, consultants, and customers.”
Pirtek prides itself on filling customers’ hose service needs quickly and efficiently, having the widest variety of unique products and parts to keep essential projects up and running. Their quick turnaround time is also credited to the 24/7/365 on-site service offered to hydraulic and industrial-based businesses, often enabling customers to be up and running again quickly, minimizing equipment downtime.
