Fluid Energy Controls announces new ownership

Fluid Energy Controls (FEC), City of Industry, Calif. is proud to announce that after 25 years with FEC, the current CEO, Viren Patel has acquired the company.

Fluid energy controlsPatel was the first employee and co-founder of Fluid Energy Controls since its establishment in 1995. He initiated and developed the dedicated infrastructure for the international distribution business. FEC was manufacturing custom accumulators and distributing fluid power components in International markets.

FEC was profitable from day one. With the anticipation that China and India would have rapid economic growth, Patel planned investing more resources into these two countries and formed a partnership company HHH-FEC located in Weihai, China in 1998, and FEC India located in Chennai, India in 1999. He formed a strategic partnership with Buccma, an accumulators manufacturing company located in Tinajin, China in 2002. FEC has business in more than 80 countries, with 45 employees. He completed the acquisition of FEC as of April 1.

Patel holds a MSEE from Northrop University, Inglewood, California and a BSME from Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, India. As an avid long distance runner, he feels that running FEC is like running a long race without a finish line.

Since 1995, Fluid Energy Controls Inc. has been a manufacturer of custom accumulators and is fluid power distributor, offering pumps, motors, valves, filters, cylinders, accumulators and other hydraulic components. In addition to own FEC brand accumulators, FEC represents manufacturers such as Parker, Bosch Rexroth, Rineer, Denison, Muncie, Barksdale, Ausco just to name a few.
