ControlAir Inc. today announced the introduction of the new Type 480V precision vacuum regulator. It is the first vacuum regulator offering from ControlAir and provides precise control up to full vacuum. The unit is designed with a push type locking knob which allows for smooth output adjustment and the ability to lock in your setpoint to avoid unintentional adjustments.

Control Air Type 480V precision vacuum regulatorThe Type 480V senses output pressure deviations to within 1/2 in. water column pressure. Regulating range is from 0 to 30 in. Hg (-100 to -1.3 kPa). The unit is small in size and lightweight — less than 1 lb. The standard bracket and integral panel nut allow for versatile and easy installation options. A soft valve seat design provides tight shut off and eliminates leakage in steady state operation.

The Type 480V is ideal for any process requiring precise regulation of vacuum pressure. It is suitable for a wide range of applications which include semiconductor manufacturing, medical OEM, mass spectrometry, pick-and-place, and leak testing.

The Type 480V Vacuum Regulator regulating range is 0 to 30 in. Hg (-100 to -1.3 kPa). Atmospheric Intake is 0.04 scfm (1.1 Nl/min). Sensitivity is 0.5 in. w.c. (0.13 kPa). Ambient temperature range is 32° to 140° F (0° to 60° C). Flow rate is 100 scfh (47 Nl/min) maximum. The In and Out ports are 1/4” NPT, Gauge port is 1/8” BSPT (Rc 1/8). The Type 480V vacuum regulator weighs 0.93 lb (0.42 kg). Standard options include bracket and integral panel nut for versatile installation options.
