ELGi North America (ELGi) plans to introduce the new GP35FP portable compressor at the highly anticipated CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023, from March 14 – 18, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. At IFPE in booth South Hall 1 S61908, ELGi will display the GP35FP, the latest portable air compressor in the portfolio and the trusted D185T4F model. With this addition, ELGi now offers nine models in its portable air compressor lineup ranging from 35 CFM to 900 CFM.

The ELGi GP35FP is specifically designed and manufactured to meet the needs of fiber optic cable-blowing professionals. The GP35FP is highly maneuverable and easy to lift and transport. A skid option is available for installation on a utility truck or trailer. It is equipped with two integrated aftercoolers to reduce the approach temperature to 3.6°F over ambient and a moisture separator unit, immediately ready to work. It is powered by a Vanguard 23 HP gas engine with an electric start and uses an ELGi air end to produce 35 cfm at 218 psi. The ELGi GP35FP is a compact and reliable air compressor suitable for the specific needs of the fiber optic installation sector.
Also on display, the ELGi D185T4F compressor redefines durability; the all-steel structure with powder-coated canopy enables the unit to resist dents and fade, making it ideal for enduring harsh conditions on job sites. Powered by a Kohler KDI diesel engine, this portable air compressor provides a reliable compressed air source with a capacity of 185 cfm at 100 psi or 150 cfm at 150 psi. The Kohler engine design enables the portable air compressor to achieve tier 4 Final EPA requirements without needing an expensive Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) or a Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) system. In addition, the D185T4F is equipped with a new DeepSea controller and Intelligent Start/Stop System that prevents cold-starting and blowback, ensuring maximum reliability.
