Registration is officially open for the 2024 Industry & Economic Outlook Conference (IEOC). The event is August 13-14, at the Westin Chicago Northwest in Itasca, Illinois. Last year’s IEOC reached 300 in attendance, and members are excited to meet again in Northern Illinois to network at this year’s conference.
This year’s speaker lineup will provide attendees with the trends and data they need to move their businesses forward with confidence as well as opportunities to connect with other attendees. Sessions include attendee favorites including:
- US & Global Macro Trends and Impacts – Alan Beaulieu, ITR Economics
- Digital Adoption and Needs of Fluid Power Customers – Dan Bagley, B&B Management Labs w fluid power customers
- Artificial Intelligence for Industrial Companies and State of Fluid Power AI– Mike Marks, Indian River Consulting Group
- Update and Forecast on Key Issues and Markets: Automotive, Semiconductor and More – Sean Metcalf, Oxford Economics
- Global Markets and Key Sectors Overview – Connor Lokar, ITR Economics
Additionally, breakouts will be held on Tuesday afternoon, with deep dives into forecasts for the heavy truck market from Eric Starks, FTR Transportation Intelligence; industrial markets by Chris Chidzik, Association For Manufacturing Technology; construction machinery by Blake Griffin, Interact Analysis; and agriculture machinery by Eli Lustgarten, ESL Consultants Inc. A sales training session will also be presented during the breakouts by Jared Lockwood, Sandler.
Unique networking opportunities include attending the NFPA Foundation Golf Fundraiser on August 12, at the Itasca Country Club as well as the Power of Association Networking Reception and Dinner on Tuesday night.
New to this year’s IEOC is the Lunch Tabletop Exhibition on Tuesday, August 13. Member companies can display their product or service as well as network with potential clients during the lunch.
A discounted early-bird registration price of $950 for NFPA members is in effect until July 9. The hotel reservation deadline for the Westin Chicago Northwest is once the block is full, or July 28. Those interested in attending are encouraged to register for the conference and book hotel rooms as soon as possible to ensure availability.
