NAHAD is pleased to appoint Brian Pellegrin to NAHAD’s Board of Directors. He will be completing NAHAD’s board term vacated by the resignation of John Serra with Hydraulic Supply Co. earlier this month.

NAHAD Brian Pellegrin2 BOARD MEMBERBrian is Vice President/General Manager of Spartan Industrial & Marine which derived from the acquisition of Industrial & Marine Equipment in 2012. He brings more than 30 years of industry experience to the table, beginning his career with American Hose & Hydraulics. Brian was a member of IDCO’s Board of Directors from 2016-2018, and served as chair of the Product Advisory Committee. He currently serves on NAHAD’s Standards Committee and is an active NAHAD supporter.

Update on NAHAD’s 2020 Convention in the Bahamas
NAHAD will host next year’s Annual Convention at the Atlantis Paradise Island from April 24-29, 2020. Although Hurricane Dorian recently hit the Bahamas, thankfully its main path did not include a direct hit on Nassau. The Atlantis experienced very minimal damage and management has assured NAHAD there will be no issue hosting the Annual Convention.

If you are interested in helping with relief efforts, the Atlantis is asking for donations to the Atlantis Bahamas Hurricane Relief Fund where 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross. Visit bit.ly/HurricaneDorianRelief for details. You can also listen to Atlantis Paradise Island’s Christina Fischer about the luxury resort’s ongoing charitable efforts to help Bahamians devastated by Hurricane Dorian.

Member survey results are in
Earlier this year, NAHAD asked members to complete a survey about the organization. In it, respondents indicated that networking was the most valuable service the organization provides, followed by hose safety initiatives and research products. See more details here.
