Sure Grip offers advanced ergonomic joystick designed for comfort

Sure Grip Controls, a supplier of custom control solutions for heavy equipment applications, now offers an ergonomic joystick for heavy-duty, off-highway vehicle applications. Available in both right-hand and left-hand options, the Endurance Series joystick features a revolutionary design with advanced features that provide maximum operator comfort and efficiency in a durable IP69K sealed enclosure.

Sure Grip Controls Endurance Series joystick

The Endurance Series joystick was designed to match an operator’s natural hand position with height and width consideration to enable easier control of faceplate components and reduce user fatigue. It features an advanced ergonomic design that was carefully crafted and sculpted in partnership with Codetta, an industrial design firm. The joystick’s dual-angle faceplate allows for the operation of up to three rows of controls without reaching or straining. The triangular faceplate configuration maximizes efficiency with the buttons and modules in an arc that matches an operator’s natural thumb movement. The design is fully modular and customizable, allowing customers to select faceplate controls that work best for their application.

New ultra-bright LED buttons maximize visibility in all conditions. The lights are customizable with up to 16 million color combinations and up to 256 levels of brightness. These lights can also be programmed for different lighting sequences to provide a variety of equipment indications or initialization procedures. Standard or optional custom button graphics make machine use intuitive and efficient.

Sure Grip Controls Endurance Series joystick buttons

The Endurance Series joystick features capacitive operator presence sensing built into the handle for safer equipment operation, even while wearing gloves. No switches or paddles are needed. Its intuitive dual or single trigger control provides easier equipment operation and replaces the traditional two-button or roller control typically found on other joysticks. High travel buttons give users positive tactile feedback to know they have activated the intended function.

The joystick is engineered for durability in demanding applications, fully sealed to IP69K, and impact resistant. Rated for operation at -40 to 185° F (-40 to 85° C), the CE-certified, Sil2 compatible joystick can endure the most extreme cab conditions. The Endurance Series is rated for up to 5 million cycles or 20 million operations.
