Today at the International Fluid Power Exposition (IFPE), Galland Henning Nopak Inc. (GHN), a manufacturer of high-density balers and hydraulic and pneumatic valves and cylinders, announced expanded product capabilities including servo valve integration and customization for large-bore cylinders up to 48 in. With over a century of proven manufacturing expertise, these innovative capabilities extend GHN’s engineering leadership and raise the bar for what the industry should expect for hydraulic and pneumatic products.

“In our work delivering equipment to manufactures and distributors around the world, the industry is looking for solutions that include precision positioning and feedback that can withstand the most rugged environments,” said Brian Sternberg, President, GHN. “With these new capabilities, we believe we offer the industry’s broadest product offering with reliable customer service, backed up by GHN’s reputation of delivering high-quality fluid power products for over a century.”

Available today, GHN’s expanded product enhancements include:

• Custom Nopak Extreme-Duty Cylinders: Ideal for sub-sea, wash down and harsh chemical environments, the Nopak suite of 1.5 inch cylinders through 48 inch large-bore cylinders can be customized in a variety of materials and pressure capabilities suited as low as negative 64 degrees Fahrenheit and as high as 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Nopak Hydraulic and Pneumatic Linear Displacement Transducers: For use in air or hydraulic actuators, the transducers have position feedback integrated, with an additional proximity Position Indicator Switch included with binary on-line diagnosis to indicate end of stroke. With an explosion proof option for hazardous environments, the transducers are offered in multiple digital or analog outputs, with internal or external mounting.
• Nopak Servo Valve Integration: Compact-sized for easy integration into complex machinery, the Nopak Servo Valve kits reduce footprint, improve cylinder response time, automate control of cylinder operations, and offer precise position control when used with a linear displacement transducer. The kits include an explosion proof option for hazardous environments.

A family-owned, professionally-managed business that will celebrate its 130th anniversary in 2017, GHN delivers exceptional service and robust, custom-engineered solutions for its customers from its headquarters in the Midwest.

For more information, visit GHN at IFPE Booth # S80630 at the Las Vegas Convention Center March 7-11. GHN will host a ‘Taste of Wisconsin’ reception at its booth on Wednesday, March 8 from 3.00–5.00 pm PT.
