Parker Hannifin now sells an expanded range of network connectivity options for its valve platforms — including an Ethernet node for factory automation. Designed with Industrial Ethernet connectivity in mind, Parker releases the addition of the P2M Industrial Ethernet network node to allow for an inexpensive means of connecting the H Series valve, the Moduflex valve and the H Micro valve families to the Industrial Ethernet network.
In addition, the P2M network node is safe power capable, meaning auxiliary valve power can be supplied by a safety device in support of the European Machinery Directive. The P2M Industrial Ethernet Node is offered with (2) M12 ports for network in/out and (1) M12 connection for power.
The P2M Industrial Ethernet node expands the Parker valves network capabilities. Customers can benefit from low-cost connectivity with integrated diagnostics, making network connectivity an affordable alternative to traditional hardwired networks. The P2M Industrial Ethernet node complements Parker’s continues to focus on reducing complexity and cost at the machine, while supporting the simple diagnostics needed for getting the spirit of the Smart Factory & Industry 4.0.
A full range of connectivity options come including EtherNet/IP, ProfiNET IO, EtherCAT, Ethernet PowerLink and Modbus/TCP network protocols.
