Eaton hydraulics logoEaton has signed an agreement with a new Electro Hydraulic Authorized Solution Partner. As part of the EMEA-wide Eaton network, partner companies have preferred access to Eaton’s Electro-Hydraulic extensive product portfolio and solution’s know-how. Werthenbach Hydraulik-Antriebstechnik GmbH already collaborates with Eaton as a ‘Hydraulics System Integrator,’ and they will expand the partnership with Eaton through this agreement. Werthenbach will, from now, preferentially implement Eaton’s electrical and hydraulic solutions when developing new integrated machinery and systems.

Bielefeld-based Werthenbach has 13 sites across northern and central Germany, and is supplying industrial technology, hydraulic products and automobile components to renowned customers. A traditional family-run company, Werthenbach also develops industry-specific complete solutions. The company’s high degree of technical expertise can be seen in the production of innovative hydraulic systems, amongst other fields.

At the Hannover Trade Fair, both companies showcased, through a newly developed machine, how the combination of Eaton’s electro-hydraulic solutions and Werthenbach’s expertise will result in a highly functional precision application. The system is also distinguished by being IoT-ready and energy efficient. The programmable AxisPro proportional servo valve provides the system’s decentralised intelligence. The innovative SmartWire-DT wiring and communication forms the backbone to the system seamlessly integrates the hydraulic and electrical components into a unique architecture. Thanks to the new PowerXL DE1 variable speed starter, the machine improves the energy efficiency applying the power-on-demand principle.

“Our company’s motto is ‘expertise that moves’—which we will provide in collaboration with Eaton and in developing more futuristic electro-hydraulic solutions,” said Dennis Jaeger, head of technology in the hydraulics department at Werthenbach Hydraulik-Antriebstechnik GmbH. “We know the market, and we know that these solutions have a future. Working together with Eaton, we can provide all technologies with a single partner and will have access to an extensive range of products for developing flexible, scalable, serviceable systems ready for the Internet of Things.”

Marcus Stein, Application Solution Manager at Eaton Corp., said: “In order to guarantee the success of our partner program, we are very careful when we choose companies for our network. Cooperation is a serious commitment for both parties. Eaton makes sure partners are fully trained and integrated in the ongoing product development process, allowing them to properly advise customers and develop optimal solutions for their unique field of application. Meanwhile, our partners bring their comprehensive specialist expertise and their experience in machinery and systems design to the partnership. Together, we are well positioned to provide the best solutions in the industry and to help end customers to operate more profitably.”
