Incorrect crimping of Hydraulic hose can lead to catastrophic failure of hose assemblies resulting in equipment downtime, environmentally damaging oil leaks and even injury to the operator.
To minimize such failures, SC and SCE models within the Manuli Hydraulics range of EVO crimping machines are now Bluetooth enabled, allowing crimping data to be sent directly from the users’ mobile phone and eliminating the risk of human error when inputting crimp data.
To take advantage of this new functionality, the MH crimping App is available for free download from the App Store or Google Play. As it is always updated with the latest release of crimping data, the App allows users to easily find the correct settings for the selected hose and ferrule combination and with the press of a button send it directly to the machine ready for crimping.
