“With a focus on both current workforce and future pipeline candidates, Balluff, Inc. has implemented a comprehensive approach to long-term engagement strategies.” The Gateway Awards Program further stated, “Beginning with primary and secondary education through STEM activities, Balluff promotes industry and career awareness in youth while providing fun, hands-on experiences both onsite and through a mobile unit. In addition, the company invests in professional skill development for employees through ongoing multi-faceted training including Microsoft Office and Customer Service Excellence.”

Jenny Arbino, Director of Human Resources for Balluff, Inc., attended the awards breakfast, along with Leah Cridlin, Training & Development Specialist for Balluff, Inc.

“I was proud to see Leah Cridlin accept an award presented to Balluff for Comprehensive unnamed-2Investment in Employee Development at the Gateway Corporate College Awards meeting,” stated Arbino. “The basis for this award ties back to Balluff’s continuous training opportunities, both onsite and through our Automation in Action van, and the partnerships that have been established with various education institutions (primary through college level). Thank you to Leah Cridlin and Will Healy for their enthusiastic dedication to training that led to this award!”

Balluff supports several STEM initiatives for students in the local community, provides career opportunity tours for high schools, participates in MFGDAY events each year and visits local schools with their Automation-in-Action demo van. Balluff also supports educational opportunities with their student co-op programs, partnering with several local colleges and universities.
