The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) announced its 2022 officers and directors elected to the AEM Board of Directors and Agriculture and Construction Equipment Sector Boards during its annual business meeting this week, including a smattering of hydraulics experts as directors and members of industry boards.
AEM President, Dennis Slater, who announced earlier this year that he will retire after 23-years at the helm of the organization, was bestowed the honor of an AEM Life Honorary Director. The designation is traditionally conferred upon past board chairs.
“Throughout his nearly 40-year career with AEM, Dennis has been a visionary leader in support of the equipment manufacturing industry,” said 2021 AEM Chair Chairman Steve W. Berglund, executive chairman at Trimble Inc. “Under his leadership, AEM has built tremendous value and momentum for our members and the industry. On behalf of the AEM Board Directors, I thank him for his steadfast guidance and foresight in support of the association’s more than 1,000 member companies.”
