PackExpo-exterior-1Pack Expo will be held Monday, September 25th through Wednesday, the 27th at the Las Vegas Convention Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. The event brings together more than 2,000 suppliers of advanced packaging equipment, materials, containers, and automation technologies including several pneumatics and hydraulics manufacturers. Attendees run the gamut, from plant and project managers to production supervisors and engineers to logistics and supply chain management professionals from all vertical industries.

Pack Expo Fluid Power Exhibitors

Fluid power technologies are critical in motion- and vacuum-centric systems that make up most packaging machinery. From industrial shock absorbers to pneumatic cylinders for actuation and control and vacuum systems to sensing technologies, fluid power is no stranger to packaging equipment. That’s why you will find here a list of nearly 40 exhibitors showcasing the latest in fluid power components and systems.

The show will feature several pavilions with specific focus areas. The Containers and Materials Pavilion is a showcase of paperboard, glass, metal, plastic, flexible and resealable packaging, state-of-the-art labeling and decorating technologies, innovative containers and sustainable choices. It is a priority stop for brand managers and designers.

The Showcase of Packaging Innovations draws attendees from all across the convention center to The Containers and Materials Pavilion for a look at award-nominated packages. The Confectionery Pavilion is where candy and snack producers head for aeration, batch refining, shaping, cluster production, cooling conveyors, easy-open packaging, enrobers, resealables, portion control and other industry-specific solutions. The Reusable Packaging Pavilion provides a single destination for the best reusable products, services and supply chain solutions. Over 30 industry-leading companies showcase the latest reusable packaging innovations for sustainable business operations.

Educational opportunities abound at Pack Expo as well. Engineering students can learn the ins and outs of packaging engineering by participating in the Amazing Packaging Race. Additionally, robotics teams from local high schools will bring the robots they’ve built to demonstrate how each works at the Future Innovators Robotics Showcase. And of course, The NextGen Networking Fair offers a unique opportunity for PackExpo 2017 exhibitors and attendees to meet with the emerging workforce. The event provides employers in the processing and packaging industry the opportunity to meet and connect with a targeted audience of students from packaging, processing, materials, package design, and mechatronics programs.
