Hannover Messe attendees will be able to virtually experience Aventics’ ES05 valve system

Based on the positive feedback of the previous year, Aventics invites visitors to the Hannover Messe once again to an assembly competition Equipped with virtual reality headsets, interested visitors can delve into the virtual world of pneumatics. They enter a three-dimensional Aventics world where they can disassemble the valve system and experience all individual elements in a new dimension. This provides them with additional information about the product and Aventics. The event is intended to direct the attention of visitors to the increased digitalization of the product world.

Visitors who like to directly compete with others can do so again in 2017 at the Aventics exhibition stand. In addition to the virtual event, a conventional tightening competition is also planned. Using a torque wrench, up to four participants assemble the valve system in real time. The participant with the fastest assembly time is the winner.

Valve system assembled in 90 seconds
“It has never been this easy to assemble a valve system this quickly,” said Paul Cleaver, CEO of Aventics, confirming his convictions one year after the introduction of the ES05 valve system. He and his staff demonstrated in 2016 already how easy it is to assemble the product: at an assembly competition, all visitors could try their hand at assembling the valve system. The record time was one minute and 30 seconds.

The ES05 valve system from Aventics has been available since June 2016. The company created this product to comply with customer requests for a modular component system that is exceptionally economical and easy to handle. The valve system is especially suitable for industrial automation applications with standard requirements. ES05 valves are particularly stable and compact due to their robust housing made of high-performance polymers. The limited number of valve components can be mounted with a simple tool, which simplifies assembly and prevents errors.

Aventics can be found at the 2017 Hannover Messe in hall 23, booth C31.
