Vacuum Automation 3.0 e-catalog now available from Piab

Piab, Hingham, Mass., has updated its electronic catalog designed for tablet devices. The catalog features close to 700 pages highlighting all of Piab’s energy-efficient air driven vacuum pumps and accessories including suction cups, grippers, vacuum cartridges, and more.

It gives a brief company overview and reviews some technology basics with the Piab Vacuum Academy section. Included are almost 30 videos and animations of products in action. They are easy to view and find within the pages by simply clicking a green arrow/play button. The e-catalog also features illustrations, schematics and engineered drawings.

Users can either bookmark or download PDFs of specific pages they are interested in. Clicking on the video/play button brings up a library of all videos and animations. Finally, users can easily share pages with the “share” and “embed” buttons to email pages to others or embed the page within another website.

Vacuum Automation 3.0 is now available at the Apple App store online for free downloading to your iPad as well on Google Play for Android devices.  There is also a version for ordinary computers on www.piab.com, where anyone will be able to download a fully functional Flash version with videos, animations, etc. or a stand-alone PDF file. Users have the option of building their own custom catalog by only selecting the products they want to create their own e-catalog.
