Hydraudyne relaunches as Van Halteren Technologies Boxtel

A festive start with the management and staff of Van Halteren Technologies Boxtel.

As first announced in September 2021, as of June 1, 2022, the Large Projects business of Bosch Rexroth in Boxtel (formerly known as Hydraudyne) has officially been taken over by Van Halteren Technologies, based in Bunschoten, the Netherlands. The new name is Van Halteren Technologies Boxtel. The activities remain unchanged — the development and production of large cylinders and the execution of complex projects in Marine & Offshore, Civil Engineering, Motion & Research Technology and Renewable Energy. The company also provides the corresponding service. All approximately 250 employees of the project company in Boxtel have been acquired by Van Halteren Technologies.

“In recent months, we have worked hard together with all colleagues to manage this complex acquisition. In the meantime, we prepared Large Projects for an autonomous existence outside Bosch Rexroth. This means developing our own marketing and sales department, our own website, and developing a new global sales network to market our company’s unique products. And all this after June 1 under the name Van Halteren Technologies,” said Durk-Jan Nederlof, Managing Director.

Van Halteren Technologies is a Dutch family business that has been active in the industrial sector for more than 50 years and also in the projects business for many years. “The acquisition of the Large Projects business of Bosch Rexroth in Boxtel is a great opportunity for us and fits within the growth strategy of the corporate group. It is a significant expansion of our existing product portfolio in the field of industrial technology and will give us a boost on the road to further growth and diversification, for example in the areas of Marine & Offshore, Civil Engineering, Motion & Research Technology and Renewable Energy. We look forward to adding experienced colleagues with their expert knowledge to our team,” said Izaak Veerman, CEO of Van Halteren Technologies.

The Bosch Group will continue to have presence at the Boxtel location even after the sale of the Large Projects activities. The national sales and service organization of Bosch Rexroth in the Netherlands will continue to be located here and will employ approximately 200 associates in Boxtel.
