air-way-global Hydra-FlexAir-Way Global Mfg. has added a Hydra-Flex Hose and Fitting Solutions Center in Charlotte The new facility will serve as a Hydra-Flex hydraulic hose assembly location, in addition to a stocking location for Air-Way’s hydraulic fittings and adapters.

“Our newest Hydra-Flex Hose and Fitting Solutions Center will support original equipment manufacturers and general market hydraulic application customers,” said Hydra-Flex, Inc. president, Charley Blank. “Upon completion, this facility will possess the capabilities to fabricate and supply hydraulic hose assemblies, hydraulic fittings, adapters and accessory products, all of which, will be available for immediate delivery.”

The new facility’s production process will mirror the process that takes place at the existing Hydra-Flex, Inc. location in Livonia, Mich. The identical production process will allow the companies to maintain consistency between both subsidiary business facilities, closer to customers in this region. Customer service and production personnel will be on-hand at the new location to provide customers the same level of service and consistency that the business has applied to its existing Midwest markets.

In addition to this, this new Solutions Center is advantageous to Air-Way Global customers located in the southeastern portion of the United States. The new location will offer greater service for customers in this geographic location, and will alleviate high shipping costs.

“The Charlotte economy is currently transitioning from a financial and banking hub, to a more diversified and broad-based economy. The proximity of our new facility both to the Charlotte market itself and to the southeast quadrant of the country will allow us to be closer to a market that we believe will continue to grow for the foreseeable future,” said Charley.
