Alro Steel announces an agreement to acquire Heimansohn Steel in Clarksville, Tennessee. The expected close date is July 28, 2023. Heimansohn Steel was founded in 1896 by Lui Heimansohn, and owned by Curt and Lawrence Mize, representing the third and fourth generations of the family. Heimansohn Steel is a metals service center with processing services that include metal cutting, shearing, drilling, punching, and bending. This purchase will allow Alro to grow its customer base in Tennessee and Kentucky while providing enhanced product offerings, processing, and delivery for cut-to-order metals.
