Uniflex presents the new EM 120 for clean cuts in no time

By Rachael Pasini | May 5, 2023

The new Uniflex EM 120 is a hose-cutting machine for hydraulic and industrial hoses with outside diameters of up to 135 mm. The EM 120 is the first fully electric cutting machine on the market. The hose is pre-bent and locked while the blade moves up through the hose. All users need to do is enter the diameter via IPC for Industry 4.0 or IoT, and the machine will automatically set itself and adapt the cutting speed via a sensor. This way, users get an optimized flat cut without tear marks. The cutting blade is easily accessible for replacement.

The new Uniflex EM 120 is a fully electric cutting machine for hydraulic and industrial hoses with outside diameters of up to 135 mm.

The extremely robust EM 120 hose-cutting machine with a width of 2,291 mm and a depth of 993.5 mm has an ergonomic height of 1,274.5 mm for convenient operation. Thanks to its heavy weight of 637 kg and a design that places the motor close to the cutting blade, the machine guarantees precise cuts with its low level of vibration.

Since cutting hoses inevitably produces sparks, fine particles, and odors, Uniflex recommends using a high-performance UVC 100 suction and filter device while operating the EM 120.

Further reliable accessories include UVC adapters. All accessories are optimally tuned to work seamlessly with the Uniflex cutting machines and feature the original long-lasting quality. With proper maintenance and careful handling, the owners of Uniflex devices can profit from decades of service life of their investments. Uniflex machines rarely need repair due to the proven slide-bearing technology, making them CO2-conscious investments.
