Trelleborg Sealing Solutions now offers quick delivery of many AS568 Standard Class A Specification O-rings across the Americas in nitrile rubber (NBR) and Fluoroelastomer (FKM), assuring customer that parts meet global compliance.

Trelleborg AS568 o-ringsAccording to Michael Cook, Global Segment Director Off-Highway & Americas Segment Manager Fluid Power, “Understanding the demands of our customers, we invested in stocking a large range of AS568 Standard O-Rings making them available for immediate shipment. Also, our market leading digital tools allow fast and easy O-Ring selection to further accelerate the performance for our customers and help them achieve their missions.”

SAE International’s AS568 standard specifies the inside diameters, cross-sections, tolerances, and size identification codes (dash numbers) for O-Rings used in sealing applications and for straight thread tube fitting boss gaskets. Using Trelleborg’s new AS568 O-Ring brochure and e-Catalog, customers can easily find products and request a quote. Rapid delivery is available for the many stocked AS568 O-Rings. For non-stocked items, delivery is expected to be in line with industry standard lead times.

To help with the selection and sizing of O-Rings, Trelleborg also provides digital tools including a CAD Service and an O-Ring Calculator. The CAD Service offers easy access to 2D and 3D technical drawing downloads in all file formats. These can be emailed or imported directly into an external CAD program. Additionally, engineers can enter installation specifications into the O-Ring Calculator to receive recommendations regarding the appropriate O-Ring size for their applications, as well as housing layout and corresponding part numbers.
