Trelleborg launches online ordering for North American fluid power customers

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions announces the launch of the Fluid Power Seals-Shop. The Seals-Shop, available to customers in North America, is an online solution for fast and easy procurement of high-performance seals and wear rings critical to the function of hydraulic components in fluid power applications.

Fluid-Power-banner_Web-News-ImageThe 24/7 self-service platform for manufacturing and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) customers, enables them to place orders for a wide range of standard products, such as rod and piston seals, scrapers, wear rings, and AS568 O-Rings. Products ship directly from Trelleborg’s Logistics Centers, ensuring quick delivery. Customers can easily search for products and access their invoice payment, order history, and shipment tracking all from the Seals-Shop.

SAE International’s AS568 standard specifies the inside diameters, cross-sections, tolerances, and size identification codes (dash numbers) for O-Rings used in sealing applications and for straight thread tube fitting boss gaskets. To support the needs of North American fluid power customers, Trelleborg stocks a wide range of AS568 Standard Class A Specification O-Rings, and these are available for immediate shipment.

According to Michael Cook, Fluid Power Technical Specialist, Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, “Quality Trelleborg seals for a variety of hydraulic components are in stock and ready to ship using the Seals-Shop. With the many challenges manufacturing and MRO customers face today, this self-service ordering platform saves valuable time, so they can focus on the things that matter most to their business.”

Trelleborg will add additional products to the Fluid Power Seals-Shop in the future. The Chemical Transportation Seals-Shop launched in July 2020 and has been widely used by customers in Canada and the US. Trelleborg has a separate Seals-Shop for each segment to enable site users to find what they need quickly. For example, fluid power customers will not need to sort through seals that are not relevant to their applications. They find what they need quickly.
