Trelleborg Sealing Solutions celebrated the grand opening of its new facility in Ontario, California, on August 18. The Ontario site houses the West Coast warehouse for Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, as well as new aerospace and industrial ServicePLUS Centers, to serve the sealing needs of Trelleborg’s aerospace and industrial customers in Ontario and the surrounding areas. The grand opening included a ribbon cutting, customer meetings, site tours, and an off-site customer appreciation event in the evening.
According to Peter Hahn, President of Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, “This new facility is not just a warehouse, it’s a service center, and that makes a difference. As a service center it is customer-focused and enables us to serve customers in multiple dimensions and multiple segments.”
Linda Muroski, President of Marketing Americas and Global Healthcare & Medical, added, “The location for this facility was strategically selected to offer customers a variety of services such as local inventory, assemblies, quality assurance testing, part inspection, and special packaging.”
The ServicePLUS Centers are total solutions that can simplify the workflow in every part of a company’s value chain; from engineering to manufacturing, procurement to aftermarket. The Ontario facility stocks critical inventory closer to West Coast industrial and aerospace customers, providing shorter lead times, local support, vendor managed inventory, kitting, and special packaging.
